The new Supertrash campaign immediately caught my eye. What's not to love about chic motels, sun-drenched LA backdrops and jaw-dropping garments. I must admit that I've never shopped at Supertrash before but I'm pretty sure that's going to change over the next couple of months. Psychic powers over here. While browsing through their webshop, I also spotted some amazing jewellery and heels. Oh my, this is going to end bad for my wallet.

Bow ties with an attitude

Bow ties would be my absolute addiction if I would be a boy. For sure. I've always found them much more elegant than a regular tie. Seeing men with a bow tie gives more ümpfh to the entire outfit. What do you think?! I instantly melt when my boyfriend wears one and there's only 1 thing that comes to mind: 'mmmmm-mmmm'. 

You've got them in all sizes, colors, patterns and styles. Bow tie heaven if you ask me! Here's a little moodboard which makes me go crazy. My boyfriend is very difficult when it comes to gifts but I sure know when the time is right and he needs a classy new one, I would be very glad to start searching for the perfect bow tie online/offline! As long as you keep your outfit dark, neutral or simple, go bonkers with the bow tie!

I'm absolutely not the know-it-all when it comes to brands but labels like Brooks Brothers,  Forage and Monsieur Jean Yves have a pretty collection.

I'm catching up! This event took place only - ahum - three weeks ago. Being the daughter of a hairdresser, I immediately mailed for an invitation when I heard about the event via Media Mania. I always loved walking around hair expos with my mum and colleagues when I was little. So much crazy hairstyles and new hypes I discovered there. Take for example spray tan, more than 10 years ago you could already test it out on hair/beauty expos. I'm pretty sure that my fascination for eccentric hair colours and styles stems from all of these wonderful expos and shows. 

Dress your room.

Finally another post! You sense overcompensation with this overload of pictures? Correct. I wanted to show you bits and pieces of my room (and apparently a lot of them). Last year was the last time I could go full-on girly since the next rooms I'll be decorating will be in accordance with my mister. When we moved into our current house, about 7 years ago, I went all Bollywood. My walls were dark red, orange and pink. I kid you not. I had incense, Buddha figurines, and many more oriental decorations all over the place. After a couple of years, surprise surprise, I grew tired of my oriental temple and last year I decided the time had come for a total makeover. I went for pinks, whites and greys. Boy, was it hard to paint over my dark walls! But I like my room so much more now with these light colours (and new furniture). I hope you like it too ☺.

LFW: street style favorites

What I love about fashion is that I can follow up different looks through fashion magazines and street styles. That doesn't mean every trend or look is inspiring for me, on the contrary, some are just hideous. Anywhooo, September is a special month because of the inspiration that different street styles have to offer during the Fashion Weeks. I gazed endlessly and I think if I would attend every one of those Fashion Weeks that I would be a little paparazzi and capture about a gazillion pictures. Here are some of my favorite styles that catched my eye immediately from LFW. Unfortunately I can't call myself the photographer of these pictures below.

The fashion through my eyes

Oh my silver goodness!

Wauwsieee hide my wallet. Last time I showed you my pink galaxy cravings well now I've got some silver goodness for you. I'm on a rooooooll or I just have a big interest in fashion ;-)!

I've put another outfit together but this time there are some items that I've already purchased, such as the black Vero Moda pants and the white blouse from Urban Outfitters. Yesterday was a day of 'celebration' because 1. my dissertation came to an end (YAY!) and 2. my parents 29th anniversary. Because of the first reason I really wanted to get out of the house after so long and I decided to browse some shops in Antwerp, hence the white blouse for example ;-). To be quite honest, white isn't really my favorite color but this item seemed well enough for me. It has a little see-through effect which makes it romantic and sexy but still sophisticated enough, I liiike.

The silver Zara shoes are truly adorable and have the same sophisticated edge I'm going for with this outfit. Shoe-addict is one of my middle names so it's my duty to buy them (yes, duty!). As I'm always aiming for gold accessories it's good to have some silver items as well, don't you think?!

I can totally imagine myself wearing this outfit with a donut bun! It's something I wanted to try for ages and even more from the moment I saw one of my best friends doing it. It's absolutely pretty and so easy apparently: perfection!

Pink galaxy cravings

Dress your life is still based on 2 girls, only 1 is blogging less than the other. I plead guilty. But that's all going to change véry soon since my thesis deadline is approaching (22nd), FINALLY. Besides that I finally have people around me that can take pictures. LOVE IT ALL. 

Okay, talking blog post again! Have you seen the FW13 collections? You're probably thinking: 'uhm... Duh?!'. Well, I've noticed a lot of pretty things that I HAVE to share with you. This season my wishlist is truely endless and with the fact that I have no money, well, that's just buggin' me big time. Hopefully with my 'saving-up'-plan I can buy some things very soon. I've compiled a little outfit below with all my current cravings. This combination gives me a little galaxy feeling and that extra touch of pink makes it all damn girly, yeaah. The vans are so adorable with the accompanied hearts, it seriously screams 'Sabrina take meeeee'.

There's still a big list with items that I'll share with you another time ;-)! Gaze oooon girls!

Today I'm talking kimonos! You see them popping up everywhere lately and I'm a big fan. During summer and especially now (melting!) cardigans and vests are waaay too scorching so kimonos serve as the perfect solution. Not only a handy summer garment but also a statement piece to complete your look. They come in a gazillion colours & prints so I'm sure everyone can find a suitable one. Next outfit post I'll be wearing my own wrap dress-gone-kimono, because I'm resourceful and all. Totally not because I've gained weight and now the dress doesn't fit anymore.

Vogue x Fairytales

I do love a good collab. This time I'm not talking brands but rather fashion teaming up with a range of adorable fairytales. Since... Well I can't remember anymore but I've been buying and keeping Vogue Magazines for A LONG time and then recently - I wasn't home - my dearest parents decided I was taking all their attic space in and threw my epic collection away. That was shocking and sad at the same time, still can't believe it. Thank god for the fact that my mom picked some special editions out of the bunch. 

Why Vogue you ask?! Well, their inspiration and creativity hits the maximum button every single time if you ask me. There are also other magazines I read (duuuh) such as Marie Claire, Harpers Bazaar and Elle. But in some way Vogue's pictures seem always somewhat fairytale like. Who's a greater inspiration than Annie Leibovitz for photographing such things?! None, she's the best. But that's just my two cents. She worked with Vogue but also with Disney and brought fairytales back to life. Breathtaking pictures with an enormous fashion allure. LOVE.IT. Here are some of my choices to drool on and added a little quote from every Disney film I really like.

By the way, seeing those pictures makes you want to watch some Disney films again, right?! What's your all time favorite one? Mine is Aladdin! Maybe a little obvious with Yasmin also having black hair and some southern roots ;-)?!
