Doña Naomi | Outfit

About two weeks ago I attended Film Fest Gent for the first time. Already my second film festival this year, I'm on a roll! For the first one in Ostend, I dressed rather casual (see here). In Ghent however I felt obliged to dress up, being in the same room as hollywood actors can do that to a person. I admit, I get very excited when I'm about to see people I admire in real life. I've been a fan of Joseph Gordon-Levitt ever since watching 3rd Rock from the Sun, and more importantly since one of my all-time favourite movies: 10 things I hate about you. I watched it again for Halloween! 

JGL was at the film festival to promote Don Jon, written and produced by himself. When you watch the trailer - here - you already notice that this one sets itself apart from other typical hollywood movies. I certainly was entertained by the story and acting performances.  Throughout Don Jon you can't ignore the New Jersey accents, I'm completely convinced that Scarlett Johansson based her character on Jersey Shore's 'Sammi Sweethart'. In case you were wondering, the movie isn't about porn but actually about the unrealistic expectations that come with watching it. I think there are still a lot of (young) people out there who have a screwed up view on body image and sex on account of porn, so I hope this movie can serve its purpose for at least some of those people. Release date in Belgium is 20 november!

For my outfit I went all berrylicous, inspired by a theme Zalando posted a couple of months ago. Although I really have a thing for the combination of burgundy and black, I've been there and done that before with this dress, so I wanted something different. Mission accomplished!
